Mukoya IT Workspace – INSTRUCTOR TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Mukoya IT Workspace. These Instructor Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your relationship with Mukoya IT Workspace (“the Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) as an Instructor. By applying to become an Instructor and by using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully before submitting your instructor application.
1. Eligibility
- Be at least 18 years of age;
- Possess demonstrable knowledge and experience in the skill(s) you wish to teach;
- Have the legal right to work and provide educational services in your country.
We reserve the right to request verification of your identity, qualifications, and experience.
2. Instructor Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and honest information about your skills, experience, and course content.
- Deliver skill-based instruction in a safe, lawful, respectful, and professional manner.
- Avoid plagiarism or use of unauthorized materials or copyrighted content.
- Keep your course materials and learner engagement up to date.
- Refrain from soliciting learners for services outside of the platform.
3. Content Ownership & License
You retain ownership of the original content you create and upload.
By submitting content to Mukoya IT Workspace, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, market, and distribute your content via our platform.
Mukoya IT Workspace may use excerpts of your content (e.g., images, videos, course titles) for promotional purposes.
4. Payments and Earnings
Revenue-sharing or instructor payments will be governed by a separate Instructor Compensation Agreement provided upon approval.
Mukoya IT Workspace reserves the right to withhold or deduct payments in cases of fraud, misuse, or breach of these Terms.
5. Code of Conduct
- Treat learners and staff with respect and professionalism.
- Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior or content.
- Adhere to applicable laws, including intellectual property, privacy, and safety regulations.
Any violation of this section may result in suspension or termination of your instructor account.
6. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or misconduct.
- We may remove any content that violates policies, law, or community standards.
- We may discontinue or modify the Instructor Program at our discretion.
You may also request to deactivate your instructor account at any time, subject to any active learner enrollments or ongoing classes.
7. Confidentiality
You may have access to confidential platform information or learner data. You agree to maintain strict confidentiality and use such data only for the purpose of providing instruction through Mukoya IT Workspace.
8. Limitation of Liability
Mukoya IT Workspace will not be held liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including any disputes with learners or third parties. You use the platform at your own risk and are responsible for your interactions.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
By applying as an Instructor on Mukoya IT Workspace, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
